The video you’ve all been waiting for, and we’re spilling all the beans! Since this kitchen has gone viral over and over, we’ve had many DMs asking about the finishes of this space and we thought the best way to answer everyone’s requests was through a reel! Keep reading below for all the answers... here they are in order:
- Perimeter countertops in 1-1/4 inch Bianco Drift Quartz polished finished stone. This stone also extends into the backsplash for consistency and a muted effect with the cabinetry.
- Kitchen island custom white oak stain with a clear finish. We love the contrasting effect with the black stone countertops, and this natural wood adds a lot of warmth.
- The perimeter countertops are in a Bianco Drift quartz, which blends in well with the cabinets and contrasts well with the black island. We love this combination of muted tones and contrast.
- The cabinetry is colour @benjaminmoore Balboa Mist OC-27, and blends in well with the polished stone and warmth of polished nickel hardware. This is a classic colour we love using over and over again, a true classic that never fails.
- The island countertop stone is a 1-1/4 inch thick slab matte black Tempal quartzite in a natural finish, offering tons of texture, impact and contrast with the rest of the kitchen. This is probably our most asked about stone, along with the Taj Mahal Quartzite of the Glenmore Project, and Calacatta Gold of the Boisbriand Project.
- The hardware used throughout the kitchen is a polished nickel, which we love using to add warmth without looking too yellow. This metal can be found throughout the knobs and pulls of the kitchen, in addition to the wall sconces above the main sink, and in pendants above the island. We love how the design carries throughout the space, with this metal tying every element together.
