Just because it’s dreary and grey outside this season doesn’t mean your home has to be. In fact, we spend most of our time at home in our bedrooms (they say you spend a third of your life sleeping!) If that’s not a good enough reason for sprucing your sanctuary, we don’t know what is.

For those who don’t shy away from colour, adding a pop of your favorite hue to your bedroom is a great way to add liveliness to your entire home. Take a note from these rooms with a real POP of personality.

Your kid’s room doesn’t need to be messy or garish! What if we told you that you can have a space for your kid that’s both whimsical and bright — without looking tacky? We made our client’s dream a reality with this jewel-toned room. If your heart is set on a darker colour, keep things bright by accenting the space with clean white. Our favorite piece in this room is, of course, the swing! It adds an element of fun, while keeping the palette consistent.

Modern Yet Classic

This neutral, classic space keeps it airy-fairy with fun accessories. Check out that majestic navy accent chair! You can keep your heavier furniture pieces feeling light with bright white throw pillows and blankets. Alternatively, you can make your crisp white sheets pop with a loud, funky pillow arrangement, too! It’s all about balance.

Bright and Contrasted Hideaway  

Who says you can’t have it all? This fun bedroom is a little bit out-there… in a good way! We wanted to showcase the client’s personality in every way that we could. Through wall decor, accessories, throw pillows, and wall colors, we worked to capture the client’s energy. Of course, it’s easy to have the best of both worlds with this built in partition.

Fresh With a Pop

Okay, so maybe bright-colored paint and gaggles of wall accessories isn’t your bag. You can still keep things fresh and playful in your space using exciting furniture pieces. In this bedroom, the overarching wash of white makes the rich, yet spirited blue bed frame shine! If you’re interesting in playing with color, but don’t want to commit to painting, grabbing a piece of furniture to work as the central feature is a great alternative.

Boho With A Twist

For those who lean more towards being a little shy with color, bold gold accessories may be the answer!
